The best transport to Sitges from Barcelona Airport (+ timetables)
If you are going to spend your vacation in the seaside the city of Sitges, you will probably fly to Barcelona and then need some form of transport to Sitges.
What are the transport options from Barcelona airport to Sitges and what do I recommend?
If you land at Barcelona airport, you have several options to get to Sitges.
You can use buses, trains, taxis or transportation by private driver.
I personally train the Garraf company bus. Their line provides a direct connection between the airport in Barcelona and the city of Sitges.
The Garraf bus takes you from the airport to Sitges without transfers in 30 minutes
The advantage is that this bus is in operation all day and at peak times it runs several times an hour.

The Garraf bus to Sitges stops in front of the arrivals hall at Barcelona Terminal T1.
From Barcelona airport, you are in Sitges by bus in a beautiful 30 minutes. No transfers.
The price of a bus ticket is €8,30 and you can buy it from the driver or you can apply any on the line another integrated ticket valid in Barcelona.

What are the other ways to get to Sitges from the airport?
Train
If for some reason the bus does not suit you, you can always use the train.
The train station is located at the airport in Terminal 2. There you buy a ticket, get on the Renfe R2N train (there is no other train here) and go to El Prat de Llobregat station. Here you will change to the R2S train in the direction of Estación de tren Vilanova I La Geltrú, which will take you to Sitges.
The train journey takes 45 minutes. You can find timetables and departures on the Rodalies website. The ticket costs €5,90.
Taxi and personal driver
You can also use it for the trip taxi services. For order try the mobile app. The taxi rate for transport from Barcelona to Sitges is around €65.
It is a certainty then personal driver familiar with local conditions, which will take you where you need to go. With it, the trip to Sitges from the airport costs approx. €70-100 and is the fastest: it takes 25 minutes by car.
