If there is one thing I recommend to anyone heading to Barcelona for a holiday or a long weekend, so it's buying tickets for attractions well in advance.
Why MUST you buy tickets in advance?
Why shouldn't you leave buying tickets to the last minute, but buy them online before you get to Barcelona? Here they are for me 3 main reasons to buy tickets for Barcelona attractions in advance:
- Everything will go according to plan - you buy a ticket on a date and time that suits you. The most popular Barcelona sights such as Sagrada Familia or Park Guell they may be sold out several days in advance during the season. You definitely don't want to drive halfway across town to find out there are no more tickets available for that day.
- You save time and skip the line – you can save a lot of time by buying tickets online in advance. You simply order everything via the website and then go straight inside. You won't have to spend precious time on your vacation waiting in line at the checkout. The queue to buy tickets for popular attractions can be as long as an hour at peak times! And you really don't want to experience that, especially if you are traveling to Barcelona with children or teenagers.
