They are undoubtedly the most popular Balearic Islands, where you can go every day by ferry from Barcelona. It does not matter if it is your goal Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza or Formentera – ferry boats have all the main islands on their routes.

But for some, longer-distance ferries may be more interesting. This includes significantly longer routes from Barcelona to Italy: you can take the ferry to, for example, Genoa, Rome or Sardinia. 

From the Port of Barcelona ferries too they serve several long-distance routes leading to North Africa: by boat from here you can reach, for example, Morocco or Algeria.
