What are the official taxi rates in Barcelona in 2026?
If you don't have time to spare in Barcelona or you need to be somewhere at the exact time, it's easy the use of taxi vehicles during transport around the city. But how much does such a taxi cost in the city? Below you will find an overview of taxi prices for 2026.
The prices of the taxi service in Barcelona are regulated by the city. This means that all official taxi services should adhere to the prices listed below.

Be careful, you can often run into taxis various surcharges – this applies primarily to situations where you are traveling, for example, to the airport or other tourist-exposed places. You have to pay extra for pick-up or drop-off:

What you shouldn't pay for instead: for luggage, traveling with a baby carriage, transporting a wheelchair or paying by card.

You will then find out how the official shipping route should move.
Example: How much is a taxi from Barcelona airport to the city center?
As you can see in the example below – the taxi rate for the journey from the airport to the center of Barcelona (Pl. Catalunya) starts at €25-30. Of course, the final price depends on exactly where you go and when. The minimum price you will pay for a taxi from the airport is €21 (see tariff above).
