How to get from the airport to Barcelona Nord train station?

If you are planning to travel further in Spain and Barcelona is only your transfer station, it will be useful for you to know how to get from Barcelona airport to Barcelona Nord bus station as quickly as possible (Barcelona Nord Bus Station).

After arriving and collecting your luggage, go to the airport hall. Airport buses stop here (so-called airbuses). They go to the center every 5-10 minutes and one way will cost you €6,75. Go to what is marked as A1 with destination station Pl. Spain. Ticket buy online, or can also be used by the driver.

Upon arrival at Pl. In Espanya, you just need to find the subway entrance and buy a public transport ticket from the machine (price €2,40). Then go to line L1 with the destination standing Fondo. Your exit station will be Arc de Triomf, which is sixth in order. From this wide boulevard it is to the Barcelona Nord bus station about 5 minutes on foot. If you exit the subway correctly, you should be able to see the station building. The entire journey, including transfers, should not take more than 40 minutes.

Is it even cheaper? 

If it didn't work, I wouldn't write these rules here :-). If you would like to save on buying an Aerobus ticket, you have to go from the airport by public transport: by train for €4,60 or by bus for €2,40 (in both cases it is a one-time ticket). The train is a bit faster than the bus, so if you're considering that option, go for it. You can find more about it in a separate article about the journey from the airport to the city center. You can take the train to Passeg de Gracia, from where you can change to the metro or another type of public transport. Compared to the option mentioned above but many more transfers await you (approx. 3 - 4) and the journey will be about 20 minutes longer depending on which mode of transport you choose.
