All important maps for visiting Barcelona

There was a time when we had to pack paper maps in our suitcases when traveling. Today, we have everything in electronic form, so there is nothing easier than buying one of the map ones apps directly for your phone. I definitely recommend Google Maps or Mapy.cz from Seznam. 

In addition to them, you will definitely find several separate maps that I have put together - a map with monuments, a map of the city center and a map of all public transport, including tourist buses. Just everything important in one place. 

(If you are one of those old-fashioned people who won't take a step without a paper map, you can head to your favorite bookstore or stop by one of the tourist information centers in Barcelona, where paper maps are available free of charge).

City center map

To get a better idea of ​​the city center, you can study the map below. The city center is located in the lower part around the main square Pl. Catalunya. All the monuments and everything else to see in the center of Barcelona can be found in separate article.

Public transport map (subway, trains, trams,...)

You will most often move around the city using the metro (more about the metro in Barcelona). That's why you should familiarize yourself with his map. But you can find them all on the map public transport, i.e. also for example trains, buses or cable cars.

Since in Barcelona you also have trains as part of the integrated transport system, a map with the routes of this means of transport can be useful. The train is great if you are going on a trip somewhere from Barcelona. I personally recommend, for example a trip by train to a seaside resort.

If you will use it for movement in Barcelona tourist bus (especially useful when you have limited time to explore the city), a map of individual routes with marked stops will definitely come in handy.
