Some of us have limited time to explore Barcelona. They are the ideal choice in this case sightseeing tourist buses (Bus Turistic). They go from attraction to attraction at regular intervals and you can easily and quickly get to know everything that Barcelona has to offer you as a tourist.

The buses work as "hop on hop, hop off", so you can use them as you please and get on / off where you like. All you need to do is buy a ticket.

There are two routes for tourist buses in the city: blue and red.

Blue tourist bus route

The Blue Route offers Barcelona's most attractive sights – takes you to the majority Gaudí cannon - Casa Milà (La Pedrera), Casa Batlló, Parc Güell a Sagrada Familia. In addition, you will reach the foot of the hill Tibidabo, from where using the blue tram (tram blue) you can go all the way up and admire the beauty of the city from above. You can also get off at the former royal palace (Palau Reial de Pedralbes), which abounds in the greenery of the park and where you can find a museum of decorative arts and a ceramic museum. However, if you have already visited the so-called Gaudí's gardens (Park Güell), then know that the palace probably won't leave an equally deep impression on you. Next, the blue circle will take you to the stunning FC Barcelona football stadium.

It takes approximately 2 hours to cover the route.

Red tourist bus route

From the blue route you can in several places smoothly switch to the red route. She will show you Barcelona Sants main train station and other rather modern buildings and will lead you to another wonderful monument whose charm will take your breath away. At the foot of the hill Montjuic enthroned by the vast complex of the National Palace (Palau Nacional) from which you will have a view of the entire city and in whose rich gardens you will feel like you are in paradise. Montjuic hill also provides castle fortress, the Olympic stadium and a huge botanical garden where you can find flora from all parts of the world. You can walk through the garden or at least partially view it from a height by cable car. Next, the red line will take you to port a marine aquarium.

Special route: Night bus line of tourist buses

It is then a finished delicacy night drive through the city, when the tourist bus will take you to several beautifully lit monuments and end its tour at the romantic magic fountains by the National Palace on the hill Montjuic. Don't miss this romantic spectacle. don't forget a sweater though, because the open roof of the bus is quite cold at night even during the warm summer. However, a day ticket is not valid for the night tourist bus – a separate ticket is required. The night bus operates only in summer and runs three times a week.
