A fairly large part of people only have Barcelona as a transfer station: they are heading somewhere further, most often by train, by bus or even by boat. If you belong to the latter category, I will give you some information about the port of Barcelona that will surely come in handy. 

Map, or where exactly is the port? 

Port of Barcelona (aka Port de Barcelona with code ESBCN) is on the southwestern edge of the city.

To access it, I recommend arriving at Columbus Monument and from there head north or south, depending on what you need.

  • 1: You can find the district on the server Barceloneta and Port Olímpic (Olympic Harbor) for yachts and other pleasure boats

  • 2: A little further down is Port Vell (Old Port), where you can find acquaintances, for example aquarium or the Marémagnum shopping center and anchors here as well cruise ships Golondrinas

  • 3: A little further south is the harbor for cruise ships, ocean liners or perhaps ferries from Barcelona directed at Balearic Islands (Ibiza, Mallorca and others).

  • If you are traveling by public transport, go to metro Drassanes and the port are just a few steps away. 
  • If you need to go to the cruise port, take the V11 bus and go to the Moll de Barcelona stop
