The best food markets in Barcelona
If you like you are shopping, you'll find yourself in Barcelona. Especially when it comes to food and drink. One of the great options to get acquainted with all kinds of goodies this Catalan metropolis offers, is to visit one of the food markets.
Sure, the most famous market is La Boqueria on La Rambla boulevard. Probably no tourist going to the city will miss it.
But in Barcelona there are dozens of urban food markets with food - each bigger or smaller urban district has any I therefore recommend that you familiarize yourself with the closest places to where you will be in the city stay.
If you visit one of the lesser-known markets, you can look forward to a much more authentic and local experience and, above all, a minimum of tourists. They usually don't have markets other than La Boqueria on their itinerary...
