Casa de les Punxes - where did the medieval castle originate in Barcelona?
Casa de les Punxes, also known as Casa Terradas, is a modernist building in Barcelona designed by the architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch ve quarter Eixample. This unique building, completed in 1905, is considered one of the examples Catalan modernism.

Casa de les Punxes resembles a medieval castle
Thanks to its form, the house already at the time of its creation it aroused stormy reactions – it is a brick property reminiscent of a small medieval castle. And the one in a modern residential area seems like a small revelation.
The building was inaccessible to the public for a long time. A museum opened here in 2016, but it was closed after a few years.
There is currently a co-working and event space here operated by Cloudworks. You can use the grounds of this wonderful building as your office from €25/day. More on their website.
If you like architecture, I recommend at least walking around the building from the outside: you will see various sculptures, balconies or other details on the facade.
